Our Company History

Sonic Horizon Studios was founded in 2010 by Emily Carter, a seasoned audio engineer and passionate musician. Emily envisioned a recording studio that not only provided state-of-the-art equipment and facilities but also fostered a supportive and collaborative environment for artists of all genres. Starting with a modest setup in a converted warehouse in Harmony Creek, CA, the studio quickly gained a reputation for its exceptional sound quality and dedicated team.

In its early years, Sonic Horizon Studios primarily focused on recording local bands and musicians, helping them produce high-quality demos and albums. As word of mouth spread, the studio began attracting artists from further afield, drawn by its unique combination of technical expertise and artistic sensitivity. By 2015, Sonic Horizon Studios had outgrown its original location and moved to a larger, purpose-built facility on Galaxy Drive.

The new studio featured multiple recording rooms, a spacious control room equipped with a Neve 88R console, and comfortable lounge areas for artists to relax and collaborate. This expansion allowed Sonic Horizon Studios to offer a wider range of services, including mixing, mastering, voice-over recording, and podcast production. Over the years, the studio has worked with a diverse array of artists, from indie rock bands and hip-hop artists to classical ensembles and voice-over professionals. Sonic Horizon Studios has become a cornerstone of the Harmony Creek music scene, supporting local talent and contributing to the vibrant artistic community.

David Lee

Senior Producer
